Shipping & Delivery Policy

Tracking Order Progress

You can track the progress of your order from your account. To see what stage your order is at:

  • Log into your account on the Website.
  • Click on your account icon and select “Orders.”
  • Click “Details” on the order you’re interested in.
  • For each shipment of your order, the current stage will be displayed.

Changing the Delivery Day and Time of Shipment

For shipments handled by the courier company G.A.P. AKIS Express, you can change the delivery day and time through your order.

To proceed with changing the delivery day and time:

  • Log into your account on the Website
  • Click on your account icon and select “Orders”
  • Click “Details” on the order you’re interested in
  • Click “Change or cancel shipment” above the shipment
  • From the options that appear, choose “Change delivery day/time”
  • Select the day and time that suits you and click “Save”
  • Once you complete the change, the courier company will be automatically notified to deliver the package at the day and time you selected.

    Our partner courier companies deliver daily between 09:00–19:00, and the delivery time is determined by order volume and delivery routes per area.

    Important notes:

    • The option to change day and time only appears once the courier has scheduled the package for delivery.
    • The first available date you can select (where applicable) is the next business day after the one originally set.
    • The available time slots you can choose from are: 09:00–19:00 (all day), 09:00–13:00, 12:00–16:00, 15:00–19:00

Order Pickup

You can receive your order at any address you want, anywhere in Cyprus, through our partner courier companies. You can also pick up the products you want directly from our Company’s physical stores across Cyprus.

Receiving your order at your location

To receive your order at your home or workplace, you’ll need to add the products you want to your cart and proceed to the step “Where would you like your order shipped?”

At this point you can choose one of your already saved addresses or add a new one by selecting “New address.”

 

If you are in a hard-to-reach area and there isn’t an exact address for the location where you want to receive your order, we’d recommend adding a nearby main road and writing useful information in the “Notes” field to help the courier company locate you. You can also add an alternative phone number, as our partners may need to call you to arrange the delivery.

Pickupo from the Company's Physical Stores

The direct in-store pickup service is available at all our stores in Cyprus. If you choose to pick up from the store, you’ll see its exact address, opening hours, and you’ll need to fill in the recipient’s full name and phone number. Once the order is ready at the store, you’ll receive a notification email and you’ll have a window of 96 hours (4 days) to pick it up. For the best service, we recommend checking the store’s opening hours before you go, and bringing your order code with you, as it will be needed for pickup.

Important Notes:

  • If you don’t pick up your order within 4 days of receiving the notification email, the order will be automatically cancelled and we will proceed with a refund.
  • This service is only available for online payment. Cash on delivery is not available.
  • If you want to return your order, you’ll need to submit a return request.

Delivery Date

The delivery date of your order depends on the availability of the products you purchased. You can see the estimated delivery date before placing your order, in your cart above the payment details.

After placing your order, in your account under order details:

  • Log into your account.
  • Click on your account icon and select “Orders.”
  • Click “Details” on the order you’re interested in.
  • For each shipment of your order, the estimated delivery date will be displayed.

Important note:
For any delays in the delivery of your order, a relevant notification message will appear in your “Orders,” along with the exact reason for the delay in the order’s “Details.” In addition, you will also receive a notification email.

Changing the Shipping Address of and Order

You can change the shipping address and contact phone number of your order depending on the stage it’s currently at.

Choose the section that corresponds to your order’s stage to find more information about changing the shipping details.

 

  • Log into your account
  • Click on your account icon and select “Orders”
  • Click “Details” on the order you’re interested in
  • At the top of the page, select “Change or cancel order”
  • Then select the “Change address” option
  • Select the new shipping address or fill in the new contact phone number.
  • Click “Apply.”

Changing details at the "handed over to corier" stage

  • If your order is at the “Handed over to courier” stage, changing the address or the delivery day/time will need to be arranged directly with the courier, or, alternatively, you can cancel the order and place it again with the correct details. After the change, the re-routing of your package will also be scheduled for the next day, to the address you selected.
  • Through the “Settings” in your account, you can update your details so they are used correctly for future orders.

Courier companies

The courier company that will deliver your order is selected automatically, based on availability and the shipping store. 
The courier company we partner with is: G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Express Logistics Ltd

Confirmation of a new order

You can confirm that your new order has been successfully placed through your account on the Website.

To view your orders:

  • Log into your account.
  • Click on your account icon.
  • Select “Orders.”
  • In addition, upon completing your purchase, you’ll receive a notification email with your unique order code within the next five minutes.
  • Once your order is placed, you can track its progress from your account.
    If your order does not appear in your account, you may have logged in with a different email, or you may not have completed the purchase.

Order Stages:

You can see the stage your order is at from the “Orders” > “Details” page in your account. The order stages are:

Processing
The store has been notified of the order and we are awaiting its acceptance. The estimated delivery date is shown in the order details.

Ready to Ship
The store has accepted the order and is preparing it. At this stage, in addition to the estimated delivery date, you can also see the courier company that has taken on delivery of your order.

Handed Over to Courier
The order has been handed over by the store to the courier company. At this stage, the tracking number will also be activated, which you can use to track the delivery’s progress through the courier’s own system.

The stages followed by most of our partner courier companies for delivery are as follows:

  • Pickup of the package from the store
  • Delivery of the package to a Sorting Center
  • Loading onto a delivery route
  • Delivery to the shipping address
  • Completed
  • Your order has been delivered

Non-collection & limitation of liability

Acropolis Dry Cleaners guarantees timely dispatch of the order based on the details entered by the customer.

If an order is not collected by the customer within four (4) days of the relevant pickup notification (whether it concerns store pickup or home delivery), the order is automatically cancelled and returned to the store. 

The Company is not liable for delays, losses, or damage to products resulting from customer negligence (e.g. failing to collect the order).  

Any re-shipment of the order will only take place following mutual agreement and with an additional shipping charge.
