Cookies Policy

General

Cookies are small text files containing browsing information that are stored on your computer’s browser when you use the Website. Pixel tags are graphics with very small dimensions that load when you visit our website.

On the Website we use these technologies in order to provide an improved experience to our users and better services. The updating of regulations and the legislative framework for the use of cookies and related mechanisms is an ongoing effort, both at Cypriot and European level.

For these reasons, we feel the need to inform you clearly and transparently about the policy we follow.

Cookies on the Website

On the Website we distinguish the cookies and pixel tags we use into 4 categories, depending on their functionality:

  • Necessary
  • Performance
  • Preference
  • Targeting

Below you will find more information about your choices, as well as a detailed list of the cookies and pixel tags we use.

Necessary

These are essential in order for the Website to function and to provide you with the services you choose. Without them, functions such as logging into your account, using the Cart, and sorting products would not be possible. Additional functions include preventing malicious use, transaction security, and storing your privacy preferences. According to legislation, no action is required from you to accept these. Third-party providers may have access to this information.

Preference

These facilitate the personalization of the Website’s content. The filters you use (e.g. shoe size), the products you search for and view, allow us to offer you the best possible experience, to make recommendations to you, and to help you immediately find what you’re looking for.

Choices

You have three options. You can either proceed to accept all cookies and other mechanisms (“I Agree”/”Accept All”), which will allow you access to all the functionalities we have created for you, for a full and personalized experience. Or you can decline any non-necessary cookie (“I Do Not Agree”), or proceed to customize your cookie preferences (“Customize” → “Save Preferences”). The latter two options may significantly reduce your experience.
Necessary cookies are placed as soon as you enter the Website. Since they are entirely essential, either from a technical standpoint or in order to offer you the services you choose, the law allows us to place them without requiring any action or consent from you. By selecting the “I Do Not Agree” button, which you’ll find in the initial basic notice we provide you, you continue browsing with only the Necessary cookies. We will remember this choice for one year. When this period elapses, or if you visit us from a new device or new browser, we will ask you again. Unfortunately, if you do not want them placed at all, you should not use our services and should manually delete from your browser the cookies that have already been placed.

Preference, Performance, and Targeting cookies are placed once you select the “I Agree” button found next to the initial basic notice we provide, or the “Accept All” button found under the more detailed pop-up notice (banner). We will remember this choice for one year. When this period elapses, or if you visit us from a new device or new browser, we will ask you again.

By selecting the “Customize” button found next to the initial basic notice we provide, you are directed to the more detailed pop-up notice (banner). There, by selecting “Save Preferences,” any of the categories “Preference,” “Performance,” “Targeting” that you have previously selected — by checking the relevant box — will be placed, and we will remember this choice for one year. If you have not checked any box and press “Save Preferences,” then only the Necessary cookies will be saved, meaning this will function as if you had pressed “I Do Not Agree” in the initial basic notice provided to you. We will remember this choice for one year, and when this period elapses, or if you visit us from a new device or new browser, we will ask you again.

Performance

These allow us to continuously improve our services by collecting and analyzing statistical data about how you arrived at our site from another website and about the Website’s traffic in general (e.g. number of visitors, most frequent searches), as well as your specific interaction with our services. Third-party providers may have access to this information.

Stay Logged In

Each time you log into your account as a registered user, we will ask you, via a special field (“I am on a shared computer”), whether you wish to not stay logged in. If you do not select this, each time you open your browser to visit the Website, you will not need to re-enter your login details (username and password) and you will have immediate access to your profile until you manually log out, or otherwise for one year. If you select the “do not stay logged in” option (“I am on a shared computer”), you will need to enter your login details on each visit. We will ask you each time you log in again whether you are on a shared computer.

The choice to stay logged in or not is made in the manner described above and is independent of whether you have accepted all cookies in general (“I Agree”/”Accept All”), accepted some (“Customize” → “Save Preferences”), or none of the non-Necessary ones (“I Do Not Agree”). The cookie we use to keep you logged in is called _helmet_couch and normally has a lifespan of one year. Alternatively, if you activate the “I am on a shared computer” field when logging in, it has a lifespan until you close your browser. This cookie may also have additional functionalities, as a “Necessary” cookie or a “Preference” cookie, depending on whether you subsequently select “I Agree”/”Accept All” or “Customize” → “Save Preferences.”

Changing preferences - Withdrawl of Consent

You can change, for the future, the choice you have made regarding cookies and related technologies on the Website at any time. At the bottom of this Policy you will find the button: “Save Preferences.” Regardless of what your choice was the last time we asked you, via a pop-up window, whether you wish to have cookies and related technologies placed, you can decide again through these fields, easily, immediately, and free of charge.

For example, if you had selected “I Agree”/”Accept All” and changed your mind, you can select at the bottom of this Policy any (or none) of the cookie categories you wish and press “Save Preferences.” This action will function as a withdrawal of the consent you had already given us and will apply for the future, meaning that from this change onward, those (specific) cookies and related technologies will no longer be used by the Website on your device. If you also want to remove the cookies that had already been placed on your device before the above withdrawal of your consent, you can do so manually, following the instructions found in the “Browser Control – Removing Cookies” section below.

Browser Control – Removing Cookies

You can also control and manage cookies through the settings of the browser you use. Among the options you have (depending on the browser) is, for example, accepting all cookies, having a warning about the placement of cookies, or even prohibiting their placement.

Similarly, through your browser settings, you can reverse any acceptance of the placement of cookies and related mechanisms from the Website, by deleting the files already stored.

To manage and disable cookies, you can follow the relevant instructions per browser:
